The Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to all aspects of Free Software, which is software that gives you the Freedoms to use, copy, modify and redistribute the software. These are fundamentally important because access to software determines who may participate in a digital society. FSFE works politically, legally and technologically as a European competence center, building awareness for these issues and protecting freedom and equal participation in a digital society.
