An article written February 2006 on my personal weblog explains some of the problems with Digital Restrictions Management.

The article explains how artists themselves are most likely not the main benefactors of the current system, and how DRM is unlikely to solve their problems. It explains how DRM fails the test of critical thinking when it comes to important issues such as Finances, Effectiveness, Interoperability, Sustainability and Socio-Economic cost.
