In relation to the ongoing revision of Swiss copyright law, which is also discussing anti-circumvention provisions for Digital Restrictions Management (DRM), Swiss artists jointly started the initiative Kunstfreiheit.ch (Kunstfreiheit = "Artistic Freedom" / "Freedom of arts") today.
In an open letter to the Swiss minister of justice and the commission working the upcoming copyright law revision, they formulate four essential points. Loosely translated, these are:
